Banana Bran Bread

  • Prep Time: 15 Minutes, Total Time: 1 Hour 20 Minutes
  • Serving Size: 12
  • 1-1/2 cups Flour
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons CALUMET Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Eggs
  • 1-1/2 cups Mashed Ripe Bananas (2 To 3 Bananas)
  • 1-1/2 cups POST 100 Percent Bran Cereal
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • MIX flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Beat egg in medium bowl; stir in bananas, cereal, water, oil and vanilla. Add to flour mixture; stir just until moistened. (Batter will be lumpy.)

    POUR batter into 9x5-inch loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray.

    BAKE at 350°F for 55 to 1 hour 5 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan. Cool completely on wire rack.
